I also have the gigabit plan (1200 down 35 up) and with my old XB7-T I was getting around 500-600mbps being in the same room as the router and now with the XB7-CM I’m getting between 700-800mbps in the same room and the range is improved as well. On the back of the router/access-point I see four ports, but only the fourth ethernet port has a orange sticker/mark. Anyone know what's so special about it? @MisterEd51 . yeah it's definitely frustrating to say the least! I was even told by one Comcast rep that using separate SSIDs is the reason I couldn't change channels now (I've been able to set them manually for months ever since getting my Xfinity modem/router) - BTW setting the SSIDs the same doesn't allow manual channel selection regardless of what they tried to tell me.
